General Meeting

Held at Menangle Country Club

The meeting was opened at 6.34pm

Welcome & President’s Report – Roland Blackstone, President

Roland welcomed everyone to the meeting including Life Member Adriana Care, President of Wollondilly Business Chamber, Pania Gregson and guest speaker Dean Boxall – head coach of St Peters Western and an Australian Dolphins Swimming Coach.  He also welcomed all members, their guests to the meeting.

Roland mentioned:

  • Wendy White’s recent award – Rotary Clubs of NSW Overall Inspirational Woman of the Year, and congratulations on her upcoming 33rd wedding anniversary with Ian
  • Sponsor presentations tonight:

  • Oran Park Leisure Centre is set to open on October 21
  • Camden Civic Centre upgrade in progress, due to re-open mid 2025
  • Camden Council has a Western Sydney International Airport tour Thursday 10 October morning which now has availability – see Camden Council rep’s here tonight.
