General Meeting

11 March 2026
Held at Gledswood Homestead & Winery

The meeting was opened at 6.30pm

Welcome – Sarah Ryan, Director Events

Sarah welcomed everyone to the meeting including Life Member Tony Perich AM and Cathy Perich, Life Member and Past President Adriana Care, Past President Brett McGrath, President of Wollondilly Business Chamber Pania Gregson, and Guest Speaker Lisa McGuigan.  She also welcomed all members, and guests to the meeting.  On the tables were the Treasurer’s Report and the last meeting Minutes are on the Chambers website under About.

President’s Report – Roland Blackstone, President

Roland spoke about:

  • Congratulation to Grimes Finance & Mortgages for 30 years in business
  • Congratulations to Jim Marsden who recently celebrated 50 years as a solicitor AND has now been recognised and admitted as a Life Member of the NSW Law Society
  • TGIF Drinks at Oran Park Hotel were a great success, next one will be in April
  • Wayne Bennett guest speaker for July, and will be a breakfast meeting
  • Save the date for August 12th Breakfast at Club Menangle Trackside
  • Anzac Day Public Holiday in NSW will be Monday, 27th April
  • PayDay Super commences from 1 July 2026
  • Spinout rock and Roll 2026 in Camden went well
  • Trump update
