Peter Mackey | Executive Director of the New Education Training Model (NETM) at the Western Parkland City Authority (Authority).

The Authority is focussed on increasing innovation in Western Sydney and recognises the skills needed to fill new jobs are changing.

Through the New Education and Training Model (NETM), WPCA is delivering small-scale packages of learning, or micro-credentials, that allow people to build knowledge, skills and experience in a targeted training areas aligned to employer or industry needs. The NETM places industry in the driver’s seat, to ensure training and education are designed for business and to support a pipeline of skilled local workers, well into the future.

Peter will be speaking about the NETM and how local businesses can participate.
